A nearly century-old hotel
The Hôtel Restaurant des Vosges was created in 1925 by Léon KIEFFER, but since then, the establishment has changed a lot. The veranda as well as the interior vineyard were added in 1935. Coming from a hybrid variety of the time, it is always authentic and offers a green roof on the terrace, very pleasant in the middle of summer.
The Second World War leaves irreversible traces and is at the origin of the partial destruction of the building. It was with the arrival of Robert KIEFFER in the 1950s that the 3rd floor was added as well as the south wing with the Great Hall in 1956.
It was in 1985, after having notably cut his teeth at Paul Bocuse in Lyon, that Jean Michel KIEFFER took up the worthy torch of his father and represented the 3rd generation of the family. He was joined by his son in 2014, Thibaud, who assists him in the kitchen.
Today, Jean Michel and Nathalie and their son perpetuate the family tradition by welcoming you with simplicity and friendliness to make your stay a beautiful stopover for gastronomy and relaxation.
