The Hotel Restaurant des Vosges was founded by Léon Kieffer in 1925. Since then, the building has much changed. In 1935, a conservatory was added which still houses a hybrid grapevine plant of that time.
During the Second World War the building sustained heavy damage and had to be partially demolished. And in the 1950’s, when Robert Kieffer took over the hotel management, a third storey was added and the south wing with the large banqueting dining room was built.
After having passed some years with French star cook Paul Bocusse, Jean Michel Kieffer takes over the hotel management in 1985. Today, Jean Michel and Nathalie perpetuate the tradition of the house and welcome you in a familiarly and warm-hearted ambiance.
